How It All Began.

During the lockdown of 2020 hairstylists had to find ways to be creatively resourceful and customized hair color kits was that for me. Living in a post covid-19 world the future of work has shifted from a 9-5 in person work environment to remote work with the freedom of more frequent travels. I found my clients unable to attend their standing hair color appointments and as a result I wanted to provide an at home service of salon quality.

  • Yes, each formula will be automatically saved in our system and we will continue to use the same formula. You will have the option to change the formula at any point, just contact us via email customcolor.sarina@gmail.com

  • A root kit is permanent and used strictly for covering gray or lifting your natural color up to

    1 ½ shades lighter or darker.

    A gloss kit is a demi and it's used for depositing, it's a great way to freshen up your over all color adding shine & moisture.It's meant for any blonde or brunette wanting to change the tone of their color. For example: If a blonde is seeing lots of unwanted brassy tones a gloss will help neutralize that unwanted tone. Or if a blonde is too ashy and wants to see more warm tones I would also formulate with a gloss to achieve that desired tone. The same thing goes for brunettes wanting to achieve warm & cool tones.

  • I would suggest a gloss kit for male clients, it’s a good way to camouflage grays without committing to permanent color. Just keep in mind you wont get full coverage but it will blend nicely.

  • Gloss Kits only cover 20% of grays. If you think you may have more than 20% gray it's important to order the correct kit so that you get the best coverage, which would be the root kit and once you have uploaded your current color I would be able to determine that for you.

  • Balayage & highlight clients: I strongly advise you to get your color done by a licensed professional, if you try this at home it will likely result to a very expensive color correction, that only a licensed professional can fix 🙂
